Clarification on Henchmen/Mayor Battle Progression

Hello,

Our team would like to clear up some confusion in the community regarding progression with the new Henchmen/Mayor Battles.

Simply put, you MUST beat the Henchmen and Boss Head-to-Head at all four locations before you can unlock the Henchmen and Mayor Head-to-Head on The Rooftop.

Example: When you beat all Henchmen Battles and Boss Head-to-Heads at all locations on Solo Rank 1, The Rooftop Solo Rank 1 Henchmen Battle becomes unlocked for you to play.

More details:

  • Solo Rank progresses with difficulty from Rank 1 through Rank 6.

  • Progression for The Rooftop is tied to your lowest Solo Rank at each of the locations.

  • It is possible for your Solo Rank to be different for each location.

  • You can determine your rank by looking at the circle on the Solo Mode location selection screen.

  • If all four affiliation crests are lit up on The Rooftop’s location, then you’re able to play the Henchman and Mayor Head-to-Head battles for the rank shown on The Rooftop selection screen. If a crest is not lit up, you will need to defeat the Henchmen and Head-to-Head battle for that location.

  • The Rooftop Solo Rank 1 will award you REP and Chips, then starting Solo Rank 2 you will be awarded items alongside REP and Chips.

To see the full list of rewards earned from playing through The Rooftop Solo Mode events, see below.

Also, you seem to improve the AIs’ behavior. They tend to bet higher than before and they call higher bets, risking more, so it’s harder to win against them. Not bad.

Two take aways here. They still have tells and don’t use the strategy necessary to win solo games on tables with real players.

You need to be patient ! If you bet high, you will never win.

Because they are programed house players, they have about 5 different patterns of behavior.
If I were to tell you some of those patterns, the folks at PipeWorks would gleefully change them.

The first few times I played the new Rooftop venue I got crushed by smarter-than-usual bots, and seemingly harsh bad beats, but I wanted those prizes. Shortly thereafter I seemed to notice a pattern of behavior and seemed to steamroll right through, almost too easily. Good job on the updates.
