# Banned before even playing the game

just like title says i got banned before even playing the game until december 3 2025 at 1:33 AM just a minute after making my account to play some poker versus my brother. anyone know how i can fix this or am i better off buying some other poker game?

Im Playing on ps5 idk who could have banned me. After i made my character i tried to join my brother game invite which it told me im banned from online play.

Once. on Xbox live, I swore at someone and they reported me. I was banned from playing games using Xbox live for 48 hours. Its still on my record.
Is there a possibility that someone reported you on another venue for something you said?

That could be possible, i was banned on playstation for a week for using foul language but that happened 2 years ago. From that point on i don’t let people message me unless they are on my friends list

Logged back into the game today, I’m still banned. can even get passed the loading screen in which i have to press X to continue.

Same thing happened to my wife. I’ve been playing for several years and now she is interested in learning poker so she just started to play on the solo table not even against real people and now she is getting "your account has been locked… for 12 months! She’s sad because she loved playing but can’t anymore. She doesn’t interact with anyone and she’s 50 so I don’t understand why… When I log in it works without any issues so the problem is specific to her account. Please confirm why this is happening?

I found on Jagex support: We are aware of an issue affecting some players who may experience false bans after completing the tutorial. A temporary fix has been applied, but we recommend avoiding the tutorial for now.
